BBQ Produce Good Food

Its summer time for many of us which means it's the ideal time for a barbeque. So, it's pretty good timing to see the launch of grill maker Weber's official recipe app.

Weber BBQ timer offers different recipes, delivered to your iOS device every Friday, just in time for the weekend. Each recipe comes with full-color photos, a list of ingredients, recipe notes, reviews and the option to share via e-mail. In each case, they're ideal for making on any kind of grill. A prep school section goes one step further in aiding keen chefs with guides to all the essentials such as knife skills, food preps and how to tell when something's cooked thoroughly.

The BBQ app comes with a timer for those that like to keep track of how long their food has been on the grill. The app also has tips and techniques for taking your BBQ skills to the next level. One of the best features of this app, besides the triple tested Weber recipes, is the Grocery List. Simply select what recipe you want to cook and a grocery list is generated; check off what you already have on hand and the app will save a list of items needed on your next grocery store trip. Also included in this app are instructional grilling videos by top celebrity chefs. You can tag videos, recipes, and techniques for future reference. The BBQ app also includes a grill gallery access for browsing all the new Weber grills and accessories.

As if these features weren’t enough, Weber also includes a new social media space with Weber Nation, which allows you to connect with other Weber fans and share stories and photos of your grill sessions. The interface is slick and well polished, and easy to use once you can access it. The menu is kind of hidden; simply swipe the Weber logo on the bottom of the screen in an upwards motion to pull up the menu. If you love to grill barbecue, you’ll love this BBQ app. It will inspire the backyard chef and improve grilling skills. It features desired cooking temps for doneness for a variety of meats as well. This is a great BBQ app designed to provide consistent BBQ for backyard cooks, competitors, as well as caterers and restaurateurs.  This app is for those that cook low and slow with wood smoked barbecue that many consider as much art as science.

The Weber BBQ timer App enables more consistent BBQ through the use of historical tracking of previous cooks and takes into account variables such as temperature and duration of the cook, the sauce/rub combination used, the type of fuel, and the weather. The app allows the master to look back at previous cooks and make tweaks and adjustments until the perfect combination is hit. Once success is realized, it is easy to replicate the cook time and time again.
This same technique has been used by BBQ competitors for years, but mostly with a pen and paper notebooks or using manual spreadsheets. The intent of this app is to leverage technology and apply it to this technique and help people with a passion for BBQ produce good food.  For more information visit the site http://weberbbqtimer.com.au/ .
